Star Portraits season two showcased the talents of 39 Canadian artists painting 13 celebrity sitters including: David Suzuki, Mary Walsh, Rex Harrington, Lauren Woolstencroft, Gordon Pinsent, Craig Kielburger, Tanya Kim, Jeanne Becker, Mike Holmes, Jim Cuddy, Theo Fleury, Seán Cullen and Louise Arbour.

Always revealing, Star Portraits not only brings viewers closer to some of Canada’s most famous faces, but goes behind the fascinating process of creating a timeless portrait. Each episode begins by bringing together one famous Canadian and three accomplished portrait artists for a sitting. Every episode concludes two weeks after the sitting with the exciting unveiling of three completely different portraits, from which the celebrity gets to choose their favourite to keep. The other two are auctioned, with the proceeds donated to a charity of their choice. This year's auction raised over $13,000.

Star Portraits is produced by PTV Productions, in association with Bravo! and with the participation of Rogers Cable Network Fund. Star Portraits is based on a format created and devised by Hotbed Media. The series was directed by Gail Gallant and produced by Andrea Nemtin and Ian Dunbar.
