Star Portraits: Season One

SYNOPSIS

Based on the hit BBC series that regularly engaged over five million prime-time UK viewers weekly, Star Portraits is an innovative program that combines the art of portraiture with celebrity biography. The stories are intimate and personal as viewers get to know accomplished artists and learn more about some of their favorite celebrities.

We are happy to announce that this project is being produced in cooperation with the Portrait Gallery of Canada, Library and Archives Canada. The Portrait Gallery of Canada's mission is to honour, commemorate and celebrate those who have shaped this country. We look forward to Star Portraits leading the redefinition of "portrait" for a new century.
